NWS: Conditions Improve But More Storms Still Possible Today

After a wet and wild Thursday, today’s weather is looking like a slight improvement.  The National Weather Service says rain and storms are possible throughout the day with additional rainfall of up to a quarter of an inch, even more in a heavier thunderstorm.  However, no watches or warnings are in effect at this time in Wayne County.  Yesterday’s drenching rains triggered flash flood watches and warnings for Wayne County.  Travel on the areas roads was difficult at times as vehicles struggled with hydroplaning in the downpours.
