Rona Lee Waters, 56, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Havelock, NC on December 25, 1964.

Rona was preceded in death by her mother, Rene Lancaster Lee; step-father, Bill Roberts; and sister, Angie Coble. She is survived by her husband, Michael Glenn Waters; children, Jessica Thompson (Gavin), Christopher Waters, Gabrielle Lee, and Dusty Waters; six grandchildren; her father, Jimmy Wayne Lee and wife, Faye; and father-in-law, Glenn Waters; and brother, David Wayne Lee.

The family will conduct a service to celebrate Rona’s life at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Mount Nelson Missionary Baptist Church in Eureka. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Rona worked for the last 15 years at B & G Grill in Goldsboro. She enjoyed working in her garden and bird-watching.
