Vernease C. Richardson, 71, Goldsboro –
Mrs. Vernease C. Richardson, 71, passed on Friday, May 7, 2021. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11:00am with a viewing from 10:00am to 10:50am at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC.
She was born on July 21, 1949 in Hampton County, South Carolina Lee Manuael and Elizabet Solomon Cohen. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Mr. Morris Eugene Richardson, Sr. of the home, one son, “her heart,” Morris Eugene Richardson, Jr. affectionately called Pongie, and one granddaughter, Gabriaunna Hill (Gabby} both of Baltimore, MD., one sister, Lizzie McFarland of Ganett, SC, four brothers and their wives (her sister-in-Jaws) Robert Cohen of Savannah, Ga. Harold (Mary Ann) Ennis, Johnnie Ennis of Estill, SC. Hermon (Marion) Ennis of Atlanta, Ga., and her husband’s siblings, brother-in-law, Harold Cleven Richardson {Shirley) and sister-in-law Clara Richardson of Goldsboro, NC.
Other survivors include two aunts: Maggie Hightower of Savannah, GA and Lillie Mae Bailey of Baltimore, MD; one uncle, Bobbie Solomon of Ellabel, GA a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
