Nancy Jane Potts, 60, went to be with her Lord and her family that has gone before her on Saturday, April 24, 2021 while being cared for at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Nancy was born in Wayne County on February 1, 1961 to the late Hugh Norman Potts and Bessie Parrish Potts. She had worked for many years with Borden Manufacturing and later with Americal.

The family will gather at the home of Ginger Daniels, 604 Third Street, Goldsboro for a private service and Nancy will be buried with her family at a later date.

Nancy is survived by her sisters, Virginia “Ginger” Daniels, Debra “Debbie” Mitchell, Mary Potts, and Angela “Angie” Holmes and husband Michael, all of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews she loved very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Peek and brother, Wayne Earl Potts, Sr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her memory to Cancer Research or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
