Farm Credit Farmers Market Opens For 2021 Season Today

It is officially farmers market season!

The Farm Credit Farmers Market, located beside The Maxwell Center on Wayne Memorial Drive in Goldsboro, opens for the 2021 season today, Thursday, April 22.

Joyce McLamb, the manager of the Farm Credit Farmers Market, says more of the market’s vendors will be inside this year as pandemic restrictions are eased.

Social distancing will still be encouraged, and vendors and patrons will be asked to wear masks while inside the farmers market.

McLamb says they have about 17 vendors registered so far this season, with products including local honey, fresh-cut flowers, fresh fruits and veggies, and more.

The market will also feature certain seasonal fruits and vegetables during specially designated days throughout the season.

The Farm Credit Farmers Market’s spring and summer hours are:

  • Thursdays and Fridays from 10 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Saturdays from 9 AM – 2 PM
