In a back-and-forth game, Eastern Wayne emerged victorious with a 26-24 win against county rival C.B. Aycock.

The Golden Falcons had an opportunity to tie the game after scoring a late touchdown, but Eastern Wayne defense’s stopped the two-point conversion, and the Warriors won the game.

Eastern Wayne ends the season with a 2-4 record, while C.B. Aycock will finish the season with a 1-6 record.

 

Hobbton 53, North Duplin 12 (Thursday)

Eli Morrisey rushed for 90 yards a touchdown, and Dujuan Armwood ran for 73 yards, but the Rebels lost their season finale to Hobbton 53-12 on Thursday.

Hobbton built up a 46-0 halftime lead, and the Rebels were unable to complete the comeback.

Gage Outlaw rushed for 25 yards a touchdown, and the Rebels finish the season with a 3-4 record.

 

New Bern 74, Southern Wayne 0 (Monday)

Southern Wayne dropped its season finale against New Bern 74-0 on Monday, The Saints will end the season with a 0-6 record.
