Seymour Johnson Air Force Base has an exercise scheduled in the Wilmington area this week. The exercise is expected to take place from 6 AM – 8 PM Monday, February 22, through Friday, February 26.  The exercise will be conducted on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, with additional units participating around Fort Fisher and Wilmington, NC. The purpose of this exercise is to validate the ability of the 4th Fighter Wing to effectively deploy and meet mission requirements in a real world scenario using civilian support elements.
