Deeper Life Church Ministries, 900 Eleventh Street in Goldsboro, will host “A Load On Us,” a free clothing wash initiative as part of DLCM’s 2021 Impact the City.
“Since we launched our Impact the City initiatives last year, some issues have gotten worse instead of better,” stated Dr. Aaron McNair, II, Senior Pastor of DLCM. “The pandemic of COVID-19 is quickly approaching one year. This means people are still sick; people are still out of work; and people are still hungry. As a part of our vision to Impact the City of Goldsboro, we want to lighten the load and cover the laundry washing for our hurting members, neighbors and friends.”
A Load On Us-2021 has expanded outside of Goldsboro to include the towns or cities of Dudley, Fremont and Mount Olive. This free initiative will take place at all six locations on Saturday, January 23, 2020 from 1 PM – 3 PM.
The locations are:
- 503 E. Ash St in Goldsboro
- 306 N. Madison Ave in Goldsboro
- 2607 Royall Ave in Goldsboro
- 2499 US Hwy 117 in Dudley (across from Bojangles).
- 200 South Goldsboro Street in Fremont.
- Glamorama, 601 N. Breazeale Ave in Mount Olive
All are welcome to bring their clothes at either location for a “A Load On Us.”
In February, teachers at three local schools will have either breakfast or lunch on DLCM. DLCM will bless our City Council persons with a Meal On Us in the month of March.
