Janie Crawford Earp, 75, of Fremont went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. A private family burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.

Ms. Earp was born in Wayne County on June 24, 1945 to the late Norman and Gladys Juanita Bedford Crawford. She was an active member of Pinkney Baptist Church. Ms. Earp was a local hairstylist in the community that loved her customers.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Taylor and husband, Neil of Goldsboro; one brother, Jimmy Crawford of Fremont; one granddaughter, Ashlynn Earp and one great-granddaughter, Amelia Pate-Ryan.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Earp was preceded in death by her son, Michael Lynn Earp and one brother, Mike Crawford.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
