Deloris Inez Hutchison Thompson, 80, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care. Born in Midland County, Texas on September 1, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Henry Hutchison and Hazel Simmons Hutchison.

Deloris retired from Mead after thirty years of faithful service. She was selflessly devoted to her family and was always doing for others. Deloris was a member of Thunder Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church.

The family will conduct a private service.

Deloris is survived by her grandchildren, Chris LaFever, Brandon Thompson, Danielle Robinson, and Adam Thompson; great-grandchildren, Malachi Eaves and Aaron Eaves; and a sister, Bonnie Spence.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton Howell Thompson, Sr.; son, Hilton Howell Thompson, Jr.; and daughter, Brenda Thompson Worrell.
