Leon Earl Strickland, 69, of Princeton, passed away at Wake Med Cary, N.C. on Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was born June 28, 1951 to the late Willie Ellie Strickland and Hilda Virginia Parks Strickland.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home & Cremations with Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 pm until 6pm in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home & Cremations on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

A private burial will be held at Princeton Cemetery.

He is survived by a son, Brent Strickland and wife Renee of Erwin, brothers, Willie Elwood Strickland of Simpson, Jack Strickland of Kinston and Durwood Strickland of Princeton, one granddaughter, Lauren Hall and his feline companion, Salem.
