Jimmy Herbert Williams, age 71, resident of the Pricetown/Bennett’s Bridge area near Mount Olive, died Tuesday morning, January 5, 2021 at his home.

Jimmy was the only child born to his late parents, Bennie and Etta Hill WiIliams. He was a retired maintenance mechanic with his most recent employment being with Butterball.

Jimmy is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Ann Pate Williams, of the home; a son, Ricky Williams of Mount Olive; a daughter, Beverly Williams Gunter and husband, Corey, of Sanford; beloved grandchildren, Madison Caroline Roycroft, Tenin Fitz Gunter, Hadley Jo Gunter, Macy Gunter, Corbin Gunter, Regan Cyr, Jensen Gunter, Calley Gunter, Abigail Roycroft, and Macy Roycroft.

A daughter, Wendy Williams Roycroft, preceded her father in death.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 8, at the Williams Family Cemetery (located at Grant’s Chapel Church, 3679 NC Highway 55 East, Seven Springs, NC). Officiating will be the Rev. Jeff Kearney. The family will greet friends following the service. At other times, their home is welcoming to anyone wishing to extend condolences.
