Mr. H. W. Langston, 75, of the Veach’s Mill area, Warsaw, passed away early Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at New Hanover Medical Center.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Mr. Langston was a retired truckdriver.

He was a past member of the Kenansville Volunteer Fire Department and the Jaycees, and attended Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Devotional Gardens at Warsaw, and will be officiated by Pastor Jeff Dail. The family will greet friends at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Mount Olive First PH Church, 130 Ed Edmundson Road, Mount Olive, NC

Mr. Langston is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jean Rogers Langston; a daughter and son-in-law, Nona L. and Richard “Peanut’ Whitman of Warsaw; a granddaughter, Morgan W. Smith and husband, Austin, of Warsaw; step-grandsons, Richard Whitman and Joseph Whitman, both of Pink Hill; a step-brother, Tim Noble of Pink Hill; a step-sister, Netha Williams of Pink Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Langston and Nona Myrtle Jones Langston; a brother, Elwood Jones; and a sister, Jackie Allen.
