Delores Vivian Jones Ingram, 89, received ultimate healing and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, December 21, 2020. Delores was born in Duplin County on March 3, 1931 to the late Albert and Nancy Grady Jones. She was a valued sales associate with Avon for many years.

Delores’ outgoing personality exhibited the love of Christ to everyone she met. She spent many hours studying and nurturing her faith through the word of God. For over 45 years, Delores was a faithful member of Park East Church of God.

Family was paramount to Delores, and she loved nothing more than her husband, son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the embodiment of love as we have been taught by our Savior, Jesus Christ.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Park East Church of God followed by a service to celebrate the Christian life of Delores at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary with her pastors, J. Wesley Jarman and Cullen Jarman, officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Thurman Thomas Ingram. She is survived by her devoted son, Danny Ingram and wife Jenny; grandchildren, Scott Thomas Ingram and wife Heather and Beth Toler and husband Eric; great-grandchildren, Reagan Ingram, Rylan Ingram, Presli Grey Toler, and Roston Ingram; special niece and nephew, Sandy Melvin and Don “Shorty” Mozingo.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Lee Mozingo and brothers, Clifford Jones and Ray Jones.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her memory to Park East Church of God, 3913 McLain Street, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
