Larry “Kevin” Kirk, 58, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020. Born in Wake County on May 8, 1962, he was the son of Bonnie Jean Sears Kirk and the late Larry West Kirk.
Kevin worked for Layden & Kirk, a marine construction company based out of Hertford, North Carolina. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and making his own fishing lures.
A service to celebrate Kevin’s life will be held Thursday, December, 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Wright officiating. Private interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Newport.
In addition to his mother, Kevin is survived by his siblings, Kenneth Kirk; Karen Mical and husband, Jeffrey; Kerry Kirk and wife, Diane; and Kelly Kirk and wife, Stephanie; four nieces; and two nephews.
