Bernetta Hollowell Edwards, 86, passed away at Goldsboro Assisted Living on Friday, December 4, 2020. She was born December 27, 1933 to the late Gurney Elmer Hollowell and Ethel Odom Hollowell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Gethro Edwards; daughter, Rhonda Weeks; son, Kenneth D. Edwards; brothers, Levi D. and Jimmy Hollowell; and stepmother, Annie C. Hollowell.

A funeral service will be held at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations’ Chapel on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 6:00 pm with the Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating. The committal will take place on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 10:00 am in Princeton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations on Monday, December 7, 2020.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by son, Tony R. Edwards and wife, Pat; brother, Elbert Z. Hollowell; 4 grandchildren, Shannon Rowe, Spencer Edwards, Crystal and Ashley Edwards; 5 great grandchildren, Marley, Mason, Christopher, Alaura and Lauryn.
