Kenneth Mitchell Smith, 86, of Knightdale passed away at UNC Rex Health Care in Raleigh on November 27, 2020. Mr. Smith was born March 21, 1934 to the late Robert Smith and Sada Ruth Edwards Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Marie Glover Smith.

The family will have a graveside service on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 12:00 Noon in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Smithfield.

Mr. Smith was a member of the First Baptist Church of Smithfield. A member of the American Legion as well as a member of LUTC – Life Underwriters Training Council.

Mr. Smith is survived by his son, Kerry Mitchell Smith and his wife, Caroline of Henrico, Virginia; and three grandchildren, Taylor Crumley and husband, Kevin, Josh Smith, and John Mark Smith.
