Two Wayne Community College employees have been honored by the North Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals (NCAEOP) District 12.

Craig Foucht, executive director of the Wayne Business and Industry Center, was named the District 12 Administrator of the Year.

Theresa White-Wallace, administrative assistant for the college’s Arts and Sciences Division, was presented the District 12 Educational Office Professional of the Year Award.

White-Wallace has been active in the college’s AEOP unit and at the district level, serving on and chairing many committees and holding offices. She is currently fulfilling her second term as the District 12 president.

Foucht and White-Wallace will be the district’s nominees for the same honors at the state level. Those awards will be announced at the NCAEOP Conference in March 2021.

The North Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals is a support organization for office personnel and administrators in public and private educational systems throughout North Carolina. The organization provides professional development opportunities, insurance, and scholarships to members as well as a legislative platform to promote input into all matters impacting matters of education in the state.

NCAEOP’s District 12 is composed of units in educational institutions in Carteret, Craven, Green, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow, Pamlico, and Wayne counties.
