Farm Credit Farmers Market Season Ends Saturday

Farm Credit Farmers Market Season Ends Saturday

It’s the final days of the 2020 season for the Farm Credit Farmers Market.

Farmers Market Manager Joyce McLamb says 2020 presented challenges due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The market had to limit the number of vendors as the season got underway, focusing on farmers selling produce at first and eventually adding the craft vendors as the season went on.

Despite that, McLamb says sales at the farmers market have been comparable to last year.

McLamb reminds this is the perfect time of year for a last chance to shop the farmers market.

The market offers fresh veggies for a Thanksgiving feast and unique local crafts for a Christmas gift.

Saturday is the last day of the farmers market’s 2020 season.

The Farm Credit Farmers Market is open today, Friday, November 20, from 10 AM – 5:30 PM and Saturday, November 21, from 9 AM – 2 PM.
