For 16 years, the Partnership for Children of Wayne County has offered its annual Lobster and Shrimp Fest as a fundraiser for the organization.
Even with the coronavirus pandemic, the Partnership was not going to let all those lobster and shrimp lovers down.
Valerie Wallace, the Executive Director of the Partnership for Children of Wayne County, appeared on Jeff Farrow’s Morning Show on Goldsboro’s Greatest Hits 1150 and 98.3.
She says the Lobster and Shrimp fundraiser is usually held in May, but they had to delay this year due to COVID-19.
Wallace says the funds raised can be used for the Partnership’s new Little Libraries being installed across Wayne County and for it’s Safe Kids car seat program.
The deadline to place an order is September 18th.
Lobsters and Shrimp will be available for pickup on September 25th from 12 – 6 PM.
Delivery will also be available for large orders.
