Goldsboro City Offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, for Labor Day.  Monday’s solid waste routes in the city will be collected on Wednesday, September 9.

Wayne County will observe the following schedule changes in observance of Labor Day:

• County of Wayne Government Offices closed Monday, September 7, 2020. Offices will re-open Tuesday, September 8, 2020 for normal business hours.
• All branches of the Wayne County Public Library closed Monday. Library branches will be open on Tuesday for normal business hours.
• The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Monday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
• Goldsboro-Wayne Transportation Authority (GWTA) will not operate on Monday. GWTA will be on a regular schedule Tuesday.
