Kinston Man Faces Meth, Heroin Charges

Wednesday last week, David J. Stocks of Kinston was arrested as a result of an investigation by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit.  Detectives were allegedly able to make multiple purchases of crystal methamphetamine and heroin from Stocks at his residence during the investigation.  The detectives were able to obtain warrants on Stocks for state drug charges.  Stocks is charged with two counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance and one count of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance.  He was given a total unsecured bond of $30,000.
