Tuesday afternoon, Wayne County EMS Station 1 notified the county dispatchers there has been a single vehicle accident involving a rollover in front of their EMS building on Indian Springs Road. The white Ford Ranger pickup was apparently heading east on Indian Springs Road when it ran off the right shoulder of the road, struck a subdivision sign and overturned on its passenger side in the ditch. The male driver was checked out by EMS personnel on the scene and was transported to the hospital with injuries. Indian Springs firefighters were dispatched to the scene to assist EMS and provided traffic control as needed. The cause of the accident is unknown and it is being investigated by the State Highway Patrol.
