Ruby Jean Loftin Hinson, 67, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Wayne UNC Health Care.

A native of Pitt County, she was born on August 2, 1952 to Nina Mae Smith of Eureka and the late Needham Henderson Loftin. She was a member of Faro Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Ruby was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She will always be loved by her children and will be greatly missed by those who knew her. The family takes solace in the fact that she has now rejoined the love of her life, her L.H.!

A service to celebrate Ruby’s life will be held on Monday, May 11, 2020 at the graveside in the Eureka Cemetery with Pastor Don Sauls officiating.

In addition to her mother, Ruby is survived by her daughter, Crystal H. Bartlett and husband David of Patetown; son, Darren Hinson and wife Christa of Princeton; son, Jeffrey Nobles and wife Teresa of Eureka; and ten grandchildren.
