The Arts Council of Wayne County will host its First Annual Costume Gala on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Goldsboro Event Center.

This year’s theme, “Avant-Garde,” invites guests to get creative. From high fashion and wearable art to the wonderfully strange and unexpected, the evening is an opportunity to dress boldly, have fun, and celebrate creativity in Wayne County.

Individual tickets are $100 ($150/couple), discounts are available for students, military, and Arts Council members. Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses, organizations, and individuals. Proceeds support the Arts Council’s mission to discover creativity within every individual, foster artistic expression, and build vibrant communities.
