SPRING LAKE, NC — Pink D.Y.M.O.N.S will hold its annual 5K Cancer Walk & Community Festival on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

This marks the seventh annual event, which will be held at 300 Ruth Street, Spring Lake, North Carolina from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The seventh annual Pink D.Y.M.O.N.S 5K Cancer Walk & Community Festival rallies the spirit of activism against all forms of cancer and brings awareness to those who are impacted by a cancer diagnosis. This event will serve as an opportunity to honor the fallen, celebrate survivors, and support the fighters.

Why: Provide resources to as many cancer patients as possible, in hopes of eliminating some of their emotional and financial burdens; bring about awareness, while recognizing the demand for continuously seeking a cure and acknowledging the need for emotional and financial support for patients going through diagnosis treatment; inspire individuals and communities to be self-advocates for their health treatment; empower individuals and communities to make healthier choices; educate individuals and communities to practice cancer preventive measures.
