Sunrise Kiwanis of Goldsboro is hosting its annual 1-mile fun run/walk, 5K run/walk, and 10K run downtown in the historic district of Goldsboro. It is a fundraiser to contribute funds to the needy children and youth of the Goldsboro and Wayne County area through over 20 organizations. It is a fun day with awards, event shirts for participants, and good food in a family-friendly setting. One event is the 2nd oldest active road run in our state.
