Goldsboro, N.C.— Seegars Fence Company, a long-standing leader in the fencing industry across the Carolinas, is making a bold leap into new territory with the opening of its first branch in Augusta, Georgia. The move marks the company’s 15th branch location and its first venture beyond the Carolinas.
The Georgia expansion officially took root with the branch’s incorporation in March, and by April, the new location was already operational and booking installations. According to John Seegars, the company’s corporate leader, the Augusta office “is starting to take shape” and represents a major milestone in the company’s continued growth.
But what truly makes this new branch special isn’t just geography—it’s leadership. Seegars credits much of the excitement around the expansion to Caleb Milian, the dynamic young professional tapped to lead the Augusta operation.
“Caleb is a rising tide—he brings up everyone around him,” Seegars said. “He’s just awesome. A man of strong Christian values and character, he does the right thing whether or not someone’s watching. We’re just very excited to have him on our team.”
While Milian brings no prior experience in fencing, his integrity, drive, and leadership skills made an instant impression. “He’s never met a stranger. He’s got this strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and just that kind of energy you can’t teach,” Seegars said. “After five minutes of meeting him, I knew we had to figure out a way to bring him on board.”
Though new to the fencing industry, Milian is no stranger to hard work or community connections bringing 10 years of experience in the manufacturing and construction industry, along with a deep passion for craftsmanship and community service.—two things Seegars considers vital for launching a successful branch. “We always prefer to grow by partnering with people who are already tied into the market,” Seegars explained. “Caleb lives in Augusta, and he knows the landscape, the people. That makes a big difference.”

The company is currently renting space in Augusta while working toward a property purchase. Meanwhile, Milian is already leading installations and building his team. With several jobs already booked, the Augusta branch is not just open—it’s thriving.
