Peggy Jernigan Hyatt, 92, formerly of Dudley, passed away peacefully at Goldsboro Assisted Living on Saturday afternoon.

She is survived by her daughters; Delia “Becky” Smith and husband, Durwood of Goldsboro, Joyce Taylor of Bonneau, SC, Natalie Brenner of Sanford, NC and Paula Cooper of Velva, ND. Known as a loving grandmother, Mrs. Hyatt leaves numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
