Late Wednesday afternoon, firefighters from Dudley responded to a working vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Dollar General on U.S 117 Alt. in Dudley. The call went out as a vehicle fire endangering a structure. As the Dudley engine arrived on the scene, flames were coming from underneath the hood of the vehicle. A single attack line was used to quickly put out the fire. No other vehicles were involved and firefighters remained on the scene for about a half hour.
