October 22, 2026, 76, Goldsboro – It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. George Hagans age 76 who left the cares of this world on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at the North Carolina State Veterans Home in Kinston, North Carolina. He lived with steady purpose, quiet strength, and deep devotion to the people and places he loved. He had a deep pride in serving his country. The details to honor the life of Mr. Hagans is the following. There will be a Celebration of Life on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 12:00 PM at the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534. There will be a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. 11:00 AM until 11:50 AM. Mr. Hagans’ final resting place will be at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC 27534. The family have chosen to have a chapel visitation on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The Staff of J.B.
