Sixteen students earned Airframe Certificates of Completion, allowing them to take the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)’s airframe mechanic written exam.
Once these students pass the written exam, they become eligible to take the oral and practical exams. When they complete all exams, they receive a temporary Airframe Mechanic certificate so that they may exercise their privileges until their permanent certificates arrive.
Alexander Cvetkovski said it felt “fantastic” to receive his Airframe Certificate of Completion. “A lot of hard work has paid off,” he said.
Cvetkovski decided to leave a career as a construction project manager to chase his dream of working in aviation. “I heard good things about WCC’s program, and it has exceeded my expectations,” he shared. “I really like it here.”
The demand for aircraft mechanics and technicians is high and is expected to grow rapidly.
