Ronnie was a devoted man of faith, family, and community who will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Ronnie was a faithful member of Antioch Presbyterian Church, where he served as a deacon. His faith was an important part of his life, and he willingly served both his church and those around him with a caring and generous heart. Through his service, friendship, and example, Ronnie touched the lives of many.
Outside of his church and family, Ronnie enjoyed the simple pleasures that made life meaningful. He loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, enjoying the challenge and camaraderie that came with both. He also enjoyed being on the golf course, where he could spend time with friends and enjoy the game he loved. Ronnie was an avid fantasy football fan and looked forward to each season, but perhaps one of his greatest sporting passions was Duke basketball. He proudly followed the Blue Devils and enjoyed cheering them on whenever they took the court.
Above all else, Ronnie cherished his family. He especially loved spending time with his two favorite women, his beloved wife, Gwen, and his daughter, Robin. Whether enjoying a quiet day together, sharing a laugh, or simply being in each other’s company, Ronnie treasured every moment with them. They were a tremendous source of joy in his life, and the love he had for them was evident in everything he did.
Ronnie will be remembered for his faith, his love of the outdoors, his enjoyment of sports, and most of all, the love and friendship he shared with those around him. His presence brought warmth and fellowship to the lives of many, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, church family, and friends.
Though he is no longer with us, the legacy Ronnie leaves behind is one of faith, fellowship, and a life well lived. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered until the day he is reunited with those he loved in the presence of his Lord.
