August 24, 2026, 97, – Mrs. Edith Gray Barefoot Sasser, 97, was received into the arms of her Savior early Monday, August 24, 2026, at her home in Dunn, surrounded by her loving family.
A service to celebrate her remarkable life and homegoing will take place Friday, August 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, with Pastor Ben Merritt officiating. The family will receive friends during the hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Committal and interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
