GOLDSBORO, N.C. — One person was found dead following an early-morning motor vehicle crash Tuesday in Goldsboro.
According to the Goldsboro Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of West Holly Street at approximately 5:26 a.m. Tuesday, August. 11, in reference to a motor vehicle crash.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a deceased person inside the vehicle.
The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau was called to the scene and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Police have not released the identity of the deceased or additional details about what may have led to the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information may be released as it becomes available.
