WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. — Arrington Volunteer Fire Department firefighters responded Saturday morning to a single-vehicle crash on Genoa Road near Pecan Road.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and evaluated the driver of the vehicle. Fortunately, the driver was not injured and was checked by EMS personnel at the scene.
A trooper with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to investigate the crash. After the trooper arrived and emergency operations were completed, firefighters and EMS personnel cleared the scene.
No additional information about the cause of the crash was immediately available.
