GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A Dudley man is facing multiple felony charges following an investigation into a stolen vehicle reported in southern Wayne County.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a report of a motor vehicle larceny on July 17, 2026. Detectives launched an investigation and determined that 36-year-old Jesus Fonseca-Diaz of Hack Drive in Dudley was responsible for stealing the vehicle.
Investigators later located and recovered the stolen vehicle.
Fonseca-Diaz was arrested and charged with:
- Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
- Breaking or Entering a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle
- Obtaining Property by False Pretenses
He was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he was placed under a $30,000 secured bond.
