WAYNE COUNTY, NC – A lengthy investigation by the Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a Pikeville man facing multiple felony cocaine trafficking charges.
According to investigators, 27-year-old Jeannautica Tealle Jones of Nahunta Road, Pikeville, was identified as an alleged source of cocaine supplying the Fremont area of Wayne County.
Authorities said evidence gathered during the investigation established probable cause to obtain arrest warrants for Jones.
Jones has been charged with:
- 17 counts of Trafficking Cocaine
- 4 counts of Maintaining a Vehicle for a Controlled Substance
Jones was taken into custody by the Goldsboro Police Department and is being held at the Wayne County Detention Center under a $1,001,000 secured bond.
Officials described the arrest as a significant step in ongoing efforts to reduce the distribution of illegal narcotics throughout Wayne County.
