July 21, 2026, 86, Princeton – Robert Glenn Daughtry, 86, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at his childhood home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Johnston County on April 11, 1940 to the late Robert Lee Daughtry and Zelda Moore Daughtry. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Ginger Daughtry Booth, a brother, Jerry Daughtry, and a sister, Myra Daughtry Capps.
There will be a visitation Friday, July 24, 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Casey Funeral Home & Cremations Chapel. The funeral will be held at 1:00pm with the committal to follow in the Princeton Cemetery. Pastor Ira Williford and Pastor Tommy McLendon will be officiating.
Robert Glenn Daughtry is survived by his loving wife; Glenda Lou Pender Daughtry, daughters; Gwendolyn Daughtry Stewart (Richie), Amy Daughtry Yancey (Steve); son in law, Scott Booth, grandchildren; Courtney Hinnant (Jonathan), Erika Booth, Robert Yancey (Christina), Dylan Booth, Cara-beth Yancey (Dawton Daughtry), great grandchildren; Conner Hinnant, Aubrey Hinnant, Willow Grace Yancey, Emalyn Hinnant, Mason James Yancey, Bellamy Hinnant, sisters; Sue Daughtry Lambert, Diane Daughtry Barefoot, brother; Tom Daughtry (Barbara), brother in law; George Pope, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
