July 4, 2026, 43, Princeton – With heavy hearts and unwavering faith, we announce the passing of David Carl Wiley, Jr., who entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on July 4, 2026. He was born December 20, 1982 to Delilah Ree Woodard Sippel and the late David Carl Wiley, Sr.
David was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a faithful servant of God whose life reflected love, kindness, and selflessness. He dedicated himself to serving others, always willing to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or simply be present for those in need. His unwavering faith guided every aspect of his life and inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
David proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, carrying with him a spirit of honor, dedication, and integrity that remained with him throughout his life.
Above all else, David cherished his family. He loved his wife with his whole heart and found his greatest joy in being a husband and father. Whether spending time with his children, tending to his garden, caring for his beloved chickens, or simply making those around him laugh, David embraced life’s simple blessings with gratitude and enthusiasm.
Known for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, David had a remarkable gift for making others smile. His laughter was contagious, and even during difficult times, he could brighten a room with his warmth and joy. He leaves behind countless memories filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.
David’s legacy is one of faith, compassion, and service. He showed others what it meant to love unconditionally, to live humbly, and to put the needs of others before his own. Though his time on earth was far too short, the impact he made on his family, friends, and community will endure for generations.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but those who mourn his passing find comfort in knowing that he has been welcomed into eternal paradise.
David is survived by his wife, Jaime Nisi Wiley; mother, Ree Sippel and stepfather, Ross Sippel; children, Hannah Wiley, Jaxson Wiley, Elijah Wiley, Noah Wiley; brothers, Raymond Scott Wiley (Kortne), and Rodney Nichols; sisters, Sharon Williams (Drew) and Tesla Lynn Nichols (Josh Henning).
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at The Bridge Church-Princeton, 188 Whitley Church Road, Princeton, NC 27569.
A Celebration of David’s Life will be held in the chapel of The Bridge Church-Princeton on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 4:00 pm with the Reverend Andy Stovall officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor the remarkable man he was and to celebrate the enduring legacy of faith, love, laughter, and service that he leaves behind.
