June 27, 2026, 55, Roanoke, VA – Wilbert Alton “Beau” Bass, Jr., 55, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.
Born in Goldsboro on March 17, 1971, Beau was the son of Ramona Ann Minshew Barbour. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for seven years before beginning his career with Millennium Print Group, where he was a dedicated employee.
Beau found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time with his faithful dog, P.J., and took great pride in his car. Those who knew him will remember his quiet spirit and the appreciation he had for the things he loved most.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Ramona Ann Minshew Barbour; his son, Peyton Bass; his daughter, Jordan Bass; his aunts, Kay Smith and Connie Lee; and several cousins who held a special place in his heart.
The family will honor Beau’s life with a private service.
