WAYNE COUNTY, NC – A nationwide search is underway for a missing 17-year-old Georgia girl who may be traveling to the Goldsboro area, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Janna Atkinson, 17, was last seen on June 4, 2026, in Powder Springs, Georgia. Two weeks after her disappearance, NCMEC is asking the public to help locate the missing teen and provide any information that could assist investigators.
Janna is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 154 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
Authorities believe she may travel to Goldsboro or elsewhere in Wayne County, prompting the alert to residents across the area.
