GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Goldsboro Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects connected to a break-in at the Eastern Wayne Food Mart earlier this month.
According to police, officers assigned to A-Shift Patrol responded to a reported breaking and entering at the Eastern Wayne Food Mart, located at 515 E. New Hope Road, during the early morning hours of June 7, 2026.
When officers arrived, they discovered that unknown suspects had smashed the glass door to gain entry into the business. Investigators say the suspects then made their way to a rear office, where they stole an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency before fleeing the scene on foot in an easterly direction.
The case was assigned to the Goldsboro Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit within the Criminal Investigations Division.
Police have released descriptions of the two suspects captured during the incident. One suspect was dressed entirely in black and wore a white face mask and white gloves. The second suspect was wearing a white sweatshirt, white face mask, blue jeans, black shoes, and black gloves.
