GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Wayne Community College has officially opened registration for its Summer and Fall 2026 college credit classes, giving both new and returning students the opportunity to secure their schedules early.
Students can register online through the college’s website or in person at the campus located at Wayne Community College.
Summer classes are scheduled to begin May 20 and run through July 22, while fall semester classes will begin Aug. 17.
College officials say nearly 200 courses will be offered during the summer semester, with more than 600 courses available in the fall. Classes will be offered in seated, online, and hybrid formats to provide flexibility for students balancing work, family, and other commitments.
Students are encouraged to register as soon as possible to ensure availability in preferred classes and schedules.
Key registration and tuition deadlines include:
Summer Semester
- Tuition due: May 5 by 4 p.m.
- Last-chance registration: May 19 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Tuition due following last-chance registration: May 19 by 7 p.m.
Fall Semester
- Tuition due: Aug. 4 by 4 p.m.
- Last-chance registration: Aug. 12 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Additional last-chance registration: Aug. 13 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Final tuition deadline: Aug. 13 by 4 p.m.
