March 22, 2026, 8, Goldsboro – RoseMarie Haroldson, 68, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at UNC Wayne Health in Goldsboro.
Rose was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, on May 16, 1957, to the late Aloysius and Maria Moleski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Curtis “Bob” Haroldson.
A faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Parish in Goldsboro, Rose found strength, comfort, and community in her church, especially among her dear friends Marianne, Josie, Lucille, Gail, Nancy, and Audrey. She cherished her family deeply and had a special place in her heart for animals, always showing compassion and care for those in need. Rose was a creative spirit who enjoyed quilting, stained glass, and needlepoint, finding both peace and joy in the beauty of her work.
Rose will be remembered most for her generous and loving heart. She was always willing to give of herself and was quick to help anyone in need, often putting others before herself. Her kindness, warmth, and quiet generosity touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rose is survived by her sisters, Elaine Moleski and Theresa Bogansky; her brother, Joseph Moleski; her uncle, Phillip Campagna; her in-laws, Karl Wall, John Michael Bogansky, and Jackalynn Moleski; her niece, Valerie Moleski; and her nephew, John Paul Bogansky. She is also survived by her beloved K-9 companions, Sophia and Sparkles.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. Family and friends are also invited to gather for lunch at Olive Garden following the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Vincent De Paul, 1603 Edgerton Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530, or to the Wayne County Animal Shelter, 1600 Clingman Street, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
Though she is gone from our sight, Rose’s kindness, generosity, and loving spirit will remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
