March 13, 2026, 97, Goldsboro – It is with great sadness that we announces the passing of Ms. Julia Lee Barnes, age 97 who departed this life at her residence surrounded by her loving family Ms. Barnes was a cherished soul whose kindness, and wisdom left a lasting impact on everyone blessed to know her. Her life was a testament to faith, resilience, and compassion, and memory will continue to live on in the hearts of family and friends.
The Celebration of Life will be , Monday, March 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Pentecostal Holy Church, 600 E. Pine Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530. There will be a viewing from 10:00-10:50 AM. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
