GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Goldsboro Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect believed to be connected to two armed robberies at the same convenience store late last year.
According to investigators, both incidents occurred at the Circle K located at 901 W. Grantham St., and detectives believe the same individual may be responsible.
The first robbery happened on Nov. 3, 2025, at approximately 9:51 p.m. Officers responded after a suspect entered the store brandishing a handgun and ordered store clerks to get on the ground. The suspect took about $50 from the business before fleeing on foot. He was described as a Black male wearing a mask, gloves, a dark gray or black “GAP” hoodie, dark pants, and white or light-colored sneakers while carrying a black handgun.
A second robbery occurred weeks later on Dec. 16, 2025, at about 4:05 a.m. In that incident, the suspect reportedly entered the store, displayed a handgun, jumped over the counter, and ordered the clerk to open the register. The suspect took $47 before leaving the store. The individual was described as a young Black male wearing pajama pants, a gray “GAP” hoodie, black gloves, and a mask while carrying a black handgun.
Update:
The Goldsboro Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is now asking for the public’s help in identifying the person seen in surveillance images connected to the robberies. Although the suspect’s face is covered, detectives say the hoodie worn during the incidents is distinctive and could help identify the individual.
Investigators are urging anyone who may recognize the hoodie or who has seen someone wearing it to come forward.
Anyone with information that could help identify the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
The investigation remains ongoing.
