March 10, 2026, 9, Goldsboro – Linda Ann Head Best, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at her residence. Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Linwood Head and Ruby Kornegay Head and sister of the late Virgina Ferrell. Linda attended Peace Baptist Church in Calypso.
A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held by the graveside on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00am at Wayne Memorial Park with Pastor Russell Evans officiating.
Linda is survived by her husband, William D. Best; her sons, Jeremy King and his wife, Heather, Kenneth King; her daughter, Anna Best; a brother, Ernest Head; along with three grandchildren, Daylan King, Chance King, Zackery King, Layah Bonds and Kaliyah Best.
