March 6, 2026, 84, Goldsboro – Dorothy Lee McCullen Lawhon, 84, of Goldsboro, passed away at her home on Friday, March 6, 2026 surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born in Johnston County on December 21, 1941 to the late Charles Leon McCullen and Helen Christine Blackman McCullen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Dee Lawhon; and son, David Vaden Lawhon.
She is survived daughters, Dee Collier (David) and Dawn Lawhon (Jason); brother, Carson McCullen; sister, Annie Ruth Pearce; grandchildren, Brandon Foster (Julie), Megan Foster and David Browning (Jolie); great grandchildren, Erin Foster, Rebekah Foster, Wyatt Foster, Holly Rose, and Devan Jade.
