Over 300 people took advantage of the free COVID-19 testing offered by the Wayne County Health Department and Wayne UNC Health Care this past week. The first round of free testing for the community was offered at the GWTA Transfer Station in Goldsboro on Tuesday and Thursday. 150 people came in for testing on Tuesday and 181 were tested on Thursday. The Wayne County Health Department and Wayne UNC Health Care are offering another round of free testing next week from 9 AM – 12 PM on Tuesday, July 7, and Thursday, July 9, at Spring Creek Middle School.
